Mrs. Nancy Foster, one of the BRC, Inc. charter members, generously donated the monies to re-open and pay for BRC, Inc.'s post office box. Our official mailing address is:

Bamberg Recreation Club, Inc. 2014-2015 Membership Application

Bamberg Recreation Club, Inc. members and new members can now download the 2014-15 Membership Application. The document is in PDF format and will require a PDF viewer such as Adobe Acrobat or Preview to save, view, and print to be filled out by hand. A new version of the membership application is also available which can be filled out on your computer. Please download this version of the membership application if you wish to type directly in to the form and print - or - digitally sign (returning members only) and email it to BRC, Inc..

Existing Members: Please fill out the application in its entirety and return application to the individuals listed in the individuals listed in the posting below with your dues payment. If you are using PayPal to pay for your annual dues, please fill out your application, make your payment using PayPal, and return your completed application notating that you paid on-line using PayPal. You can also submit your completed signed membership application via e-mail. Keep the BRC Rules and Regulations page for your reference.

New Members: Please fill out the application form in its entirety and request an existing member to sponsor your application. Return your application to one the persons listed with payment in the form of check, money order, cashier's check, or pay online using PayPal and annotate your application that you have paid using PayPal.

Please be advised that it may take from 1 - 3 business days for PayPal to process your payment. You will be notified by e-mail once your payment has been received. Your membership is not active until it has cleared and you receive your confirmation.

Bamberg Recreation Club, Inc. 2014-15 Board of Directors, new membership dues, & pool opening date.

After a week of voting on nominated Board Members, on Monday, May 19, 2014, the Bamberg Recreation Club, Inc. (BRC) 2014-2015 Board of Directors was installed and met for the first time Monday evening, May 19, 2014. The following persons were elected to serve on the BRC Board of Directors during 2014-15:

• David Whitaker, Vice-President
• Allison Carr, Treaurer
• Peggy Kearse, Membership Secretary
• Jonathan Walsh, at-large board member

At the meeting, the Board of Directors set 2014-15 annual dues, created an individual membership category for adults 18 and older, and initiated an annual member maintenance fee to pay specifically for upgrades to BRC, Inc. buildings, facilities, and grounds. The Board voted not to increase new membership(s) initiation fees or guest fees. The annual maintenance fee is $25.00 per membership. Below, please see the adjusted 2014-2015 membership fee schedule:

1. New Membership Initiation Fee: $200.00 (all applicants)
2. Annual Family Membership dues: $300.00
3. Annual Individual (18+) Membership dues: $150.00

In consideration for giving our members various membership payment methods, Bamberg Recreation Club, Inc. now accepts all major credit cards and debit cards for payment of initiation fees and membership dues via PayPal. If you wish to pay using PayPal and do not have a PayPal account, simply go to PayPal to create an account and link your credit card or bank issued debit card for payments. 

The Board also voted to allow BRC, Inc. members the option of paying for their membership in three installments by check(s) with an additional $25.00 non-refundable processing fee. 50% (plus $25) of total membership dues submitted with application, along with two (2) post-dated checks for 25% each payable on or before June 30 and July 15, 2014.

BRC, Inc. members are entitled to additional benefits including, but not limited to: reduced pool rental for parties, and reduced tuition for swimming lessons.

Applications for membership renewal or new memberships are available for download on our website, Doodle Bug's child care facility, and Baby Bear child care facility.

If you are paying online using PayPal, please go to the Membership Page, choose your membership level, and click the PayPal link on our website. Completed signed applications may be submitted via e-mail to: bambergrecreationclub@gmail.com - (please allow 2-3 days for processing). You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your application and fees have been processed.
 
Completed applications may also be mailed to: Bamberg Recreation Club, Inc., P.O. Box 307, Bamberg, SC 29003, or hand-delivered to the daycare providers referenced above.

The Board has scheduled an anticipated BRC, Inc. pool opening date of Saturday, June 7, following the Bamberg School District release for summer holiday.
