| The public is invited for pool opening day and cookout! |
On Saturday, June 7, the Bamberg
Recreation Club, Inc. will hold our annual open pool day and afternoon dinner
fund-raiser. Interested potential new members and everyone in the community is
invited to come out and swim for the day! Admission is $5.00 per person.
The
pool will open at 1 P.M. Saturday afternoon and dinners will be sold between 1
P.M. and 5 P.M. Anyone who wishes to only purchase a meal to help support the
club is encouraged to come and will not be charged the admission fee if they
are just picking up to go plate meals.
The menu includes grilled or
bar-be-que’d quarter chicken plates, hotdog plates, hamburger plates, or cups
of homemade chili. Additional sides include macaroni salad, baked beans,
coleslaw, chips, hotdog chili, iced tea, and homemade lemonade. Chicken quarter
plates cost $7.00, and hotdog (2), or hamburger plates are
$5.00 each.

The BRC,
Inc. pool will open this Saturday at 1 P.M. for swimming, fun, fellowship, and
dinner. There will also be a membership information table and applications available
for interested potential club members. Annual memberships can be purchased
on-site with a check, money order, credit, or debit card. ‘Come Swim With Us ‘this Saturday beginning at 1 P.M. at the Bamberg
Recreation Club, Inc. pool, 152 Blocker Street, until 7 P.M. See you at the
